LCAS March Meeting

Starting Time: 7:30PM
Programs: Binary Star Systems: At least half of all "stars" in the sky are actually multiple systems, consisting of two (or more) stars in orbit about their common center of mass. How do astronomers classify binary star systems? What are some types of close binary star systems? Is our Sun part of a binary pair? Come to the March meeting as LCAS member George Holub discusses these and other topics.

Swap meet: Carried over from the cancelled January meeting. Bring in gear you don't need that other members may want to swap or purchase.
