**Updated 6:00pm on May 15th - Cloud conditions and rain in the forecast has unfortunately led us to cancelling the eclipse viewing event..**
On Sunday, May 15th a Total Lunar Eclipse will be visible in the Chicagoland area.
The eclipse will start at about 8:30pm and reach Totality at approximately 11:11pm.
LCAS will host a viewing event at the Volo Bog Visitor’s Center parking lot from 8:30pm until Midnight.
Even if you can't make it out you can see this lunar eclipse from anywhere in the Chicagoland area with a view of the South-Southeast Sky.
