Our guest speaker will be Detlef Schmidt and the topic will be his latest project, a dual focal length Newtonian telescope of extraordinary beauty, flawless function and mind-blowing specs. It will be on display.
If you miss this opportunity to see his telescope in person, you’ll miss seeing the next generation of optical achievement in telescope technology aimed at the advanced amateur astronomer/astrophotographer. It’s pure genius.
There will also be a silent auction of Jim McCullough’s donated equipment. A list of items will be sent out prior to the meeting.
